AGC networks has reported a decline in its losses from Indian operations from Rs 896 million for the quarter ended December 2013 to Rs 35.5 million for the corresponding quarter of 2014. Meanwhile, the company?s total revenues for Indian operation increased by 23.4 per cent, from Rs 1.88 billion for the quarter ended December 2013 to Rs 2.32 billion for the quarter ended December 2014.
The company reported positive earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortisation (EBITDA) of Rs 6.4 million for the quarter ended December 2014 as against EBITDA loss of Rs 397 million for the corresponding quarter of 2014. The company has stated that though its business margins are low currently, it is taking steps to improve the margins by improving efficiency of its operations.
