Adani Group is reportedly in talks with American technology giants including Meta Platforms Inc. and Google for partnerships in his fast-expanding data centre business. Walmart Inc.’s Flipkart is also engaged in discussions with the Adani Group, which is exploring sites across Indian states for the centres.

The talks form part of a sweeping $100 billion digital infrastructure push by Adani, which seeks to position the company’s port-to-power conglomerate as a supplier of both land and renewable energy needed for hyperscale facilities, resources that are critical to artificial intelligence and cloud services worldwide.

Further, specific sites for the new facilities are yet to be finalised, and the discussions remain at a preliminary stage. The move nonetheless underscores intensifying competition for digital infrastructure in India.
