In his recent address, Gautam Adani, chairman and founder, Adani Group, unveiled a plan to rollout enterprises 5G services and consumer applications in 2023. Meanwhile, he also disclosed the company’s intention of building artificial intelligence (AI)-machine learning (ML) and industrial cloud capabilities, and expanding data centres even as he looks to enhance his business footprint outside the country.

Adani further noted that while the company is fully invested in building India, it is an opportune time to contribute to nation-building outside India. In the past year, the conglomerate had several discussions with business and political leaders across the world, such as the UAE, Kazakhstan, Morocco, Nigeria, Kenya, Oman, Vietnam, Egypt and Saudi Arabia.

Additionally, on the digital side, Adani noted that 2023 is poised to see the group expanding its network of data centres, building its AI-ML and industrial cloud capabilities, and rolling out its 5G services and business-to-consumer (B2C) apps to digitally onboard millions of customers.
