Airtel Uganda reports 9.8 per cent YoY decline in pre-tax profit

Airtel Uganda, a unit of Bharti Airtel, reported a 9.8 per cent year-on-year (YoY) decline in its pre-tax profit. The company earned UGX 426.8 billion ($108.9 million) in pre-tax profit last year.

Airtel Uganda was listed on the Uganda Securities Exchange in 2023 after a heavily undersubscribed initial public offering.
