Facebook India managing director (MD) Umang Bedi has stepped down from his position. He was appointed MD in mid-2016, taking over the India business from Kirthiga Reddy, who moved to the company’s headquarters in Menlo Park, USA. Prior to joining Facebook, Bedi served as MD of the South Asia region at Adobe. Bedi is expected to start an entrepreneurial venture. Meanwhile, Facebook has named Sandeep Bhushan as the interim MD.
