Sandeep Girotra has been appointed as the India head for the merged Nokia Networks and Alcatel-Lucent entity, post the completion of the merger. In his new role, Girotra will be responsible for overseeing the customer operations of the combined entity in India, driving strategy execution and ensuring a superior customer service. He joined Nokia Networks in 1996 and served in various capacities before taking charge as India head in 2011. Girotra will report to Ashish Chowdhary, chief customer operations officer, Nokia Networks.
