The Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) has extended the deadline for submission of comments and counter comments on the issues raised in the consultation paper titled ‘Regulatory Mechanism for Over-The-Top (OTT) Communication Services, and Selective Banning of OTT Services’.
The consultation paper was released on July 7, 2023 and the last date for receiving written comments on the issues raised in the consultation paper was fixed as August 4, 2023, and for counter comments as August 18, 2023. Keeping in view the request of stakeholders for an extension of time for submission of comments, the TRAI has decided to extend the last date for submission of written comments and counter comments up to August 18, 2023 and September 1, 2023, respectively.
