Sify Technologies has appointed Mark Ryder as MD for the Europe region. The move comes as part of Sify’s expansion into the European market. Ryder will also head Sify’s UK operations and will be based in London. In his new role, Ryder will drive the company’s expansion plans, focusing on supporting European businesses with access to the growing Indian economy, both as a market for expansion and access of a skilled workforce and IT supporting infrastructure. In the past, Ryder has worked with companies such as Verizon and Level 3. He has also helped build European start-ups Colt and Zayo (formerly Geo).
