Anuj Sidharth, Director Marketing and Communications, MediaTek India and SEA

Anuj Sidharth leads the marketing and communications strategy for MediaTek across India and Southeast Asia. His responsibilities include shaping the brand narrative, driving thought leadership and ensuring consistent messaging across all stakeholder touchpoints, from media and industry analysts to original equipment manufacturers partners and consumers.

With over 16 years of experience at the intersection of technology, storytelling and business transformation, Sidharth has focused on building a cohesive marketing ecosystem at MediaTek that connects brand, product, digital and partner narratives across both business-to-business and consumer audiences. He has led large-scale cross-market campaigns and pioneered partner marketing initiatives across India, the Middle East, Southeast Asia and Europe. More recently,  Sidharth has been shaping conversations around next-generation technologies and strengthening MediaTek’s presence across smartphones, smart devices, automotive and beyond. “At MediaTek, we are not just enabling cutting-edge technologies, we are quietly powering the experiences that define how consumers live, connect and engage with the world,” he says.

India is central to MediaTek’s global agenda and Sidharth sees the market as one that brings both responsibility and opportunity. He notes that consumer expectations are evolving rapidly, making it critical to deliver more powerful, energy-efficient and intelligent solutions while staying ahead of shifts towards AI-led experiences, 5G-Advanced and eventually 6G. He adds that India remains one of the company’s most important markets globally, supported by a young demographic, strong consumption patterns and expanding digital infrastructure. “In terms of priorities, we are focused on strengthening our leadership in core segments, drive premiumisation and contribute to building a robust innovation ecosystem in markets like India,” he adds.

Sidharth describes his management style as collaborative, inclusive and anchored in strategic clarity. He encourages open dialogue and cross-functional collaboration to ensure outcomes that are both globally aligned and locally relevant.

Outside of work, Sidharth invests time in mindfulness, physical fitness and meditation. He enjoys travelling, experiencing different cultures and spending time with family and friends.

Sidharth is an electronics and communication engineer from Kurukshetra University, Haryana, with a post graduate diploma in management in sales and marketing from Symbiosis Institute of Digital and Telecom Management, Pune.
