According to the chief executive officer, Vodafone Idea Limited (Vi), the telecom operator is witnessing positive momentum, supported by strong broadband subscriber additions in February 2026 and improving financial indicators. Following its follow-on public offer, the company has been investing in expanding network coverage across 17 priority markets, which contribute 99.2 per cent of its revenue.
Vi has invested Rs 160 billion in capital expenditure, including the deployment of 0.11billion new broadband sites. This has helped the company achieve 98 per cent 4G population coverage across India, while also enhancing data capacity, improving network speeds and expanding 5G coverage.
According to the company, these efforts have led to reduced churn and an increase in broadband subscribers across its key circles.
