According to the union minister for electronics and IT, India’s electronics, mobile manufacturing and semiconductor industries have not yet been impacted by the ongoing conflict in west Asia. He mentioned that manufacturers across segments such as semiconductors, passive components, mobile devices and IT hardware continue to operate without disruption.

The conflict, involving the United States, Israel, Iran and other regional governments, has created widespread uncertainty across global industries. Key areas of concern include the Red Sea and the Strait of Hormuz, which are critical maritime routes. Disruptions in these regions could affect the supply of essential high-purity raw materials such as helium, bromine, industrial chemicals, gases and fuels.
