Pratap Technocrats has signed a Rs 80.25 billion contract with state-owned Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) to design, build, operate, and maintain a middle-mile network under the BharatNet Phase 3 programme across three packages covering Rajasthan, Haryana, and Assam.
Under the agreement, the company will be responsible for the deployment, operations, and ten years of maintenance of optical fibre network infrastructure across these three states. The scope of work includes strengthening middle-mile connectivity and supporting the expansion of high-speed broadband access to rural and semi-urban regions.
Additionally, last month, the company secured the Odisha and Andhra Pradesh packages as a 4G Saturation Infrastructure-as-a-Service provider. The Gurugram-headquartered firm specialises in operations and maintenance of telecom towers, optical fibre cable networks, and active and passive infrastructure.
