Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has reported earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation (EBITDA), or core operating profit, of Rs 48.58 billion for the nine-month period ending December 31, 2025, in financial year 2025-2026 (FY26). This marks a growth of 105 per cent compared to the corresponding period last year, according to the union minister of communications and development of northeastern region.

The telecom operator also recorded revenue of Rs 177.05 billion during the first three quarters of FY26, reflecting a 13 per cent increase over the same period in the previous year.

Meanwhile, the central government has set a target to raise the company’s revenue by 20 per cent for the full year to Rs 275 billion. Additionally, in the October quarter of FY26, BSNL reported an average revenue per user of Rs 91, compared to Rs 81 in the first quarter of FY26.
