Semiconductor materials and electronic components manufacturer, Artificial Electronics Intelligent Materials (AEIM) plans to invest Rs 100 billion in its Raipur-based facility by 2030.
The company said in a regulatory filing that it has been allotted 11.28 acres of industrial land by the Nava Raipur Atal Nagar Vikas Pradhikaran (NRDA) in Kosala Industrial Park, Nava Raipur, Chhattisgarh, for setting up its semiconductor materials manufacturing unit.
AEIM stated that the investment in Chhattisgarh is supported by the state’s industrial policy, which provides for a capital subsidy of up to 40 per cent. Further, the statement noted that the new facility will focus on advanced semiconductor materials, including sapphire ingots and wafers, along with next-generation electronic substrates.
