Tejas Networks is reportedly conducting proof-of-concept trials for its made-in-India 4G and 5G mobile network technology across multiple regions worldwide, and expects to close its first commercial contract soon. Trials are currently underway in Japan, Tanzania, Uganda, Bhutan, and Sri Lanka, and the company is already supplying equipment to Bhutan Telecom.

The company noted that partnerships with NEC and Rakuten have strengthened its global go-to-market efforts. The company is pushing to grow its international business through direct sales of both wireless and wireline products, expanding its overseas team, and building more strategic alliances. Furthermore, the company sees several near-to-medium-term opportunities that can drive sustained, high-quality growth and profitability.
