Atul Marwaha

Atul Marwaha is the founder of Innovate Labs Private Limited and an entrepreneurial C-Suite executive with over 25 years of experience. Over the course of his career, he has been actively involved in all key operational functions, including business strategy, sales and marketing, HR, finance, execution and IT.
His responsibilities span both strategic direction and day-to-day leadership. He defines the company’s long-term vision while ensuring solutions remain aligned with evolving industry needs, particularly in augmented reality, virtual reality and industrial metaverse applications. Marwaha also works closely with clients to understand their challenges and ensure that offerings not only address immediate requirements but also deliver long-term value and scalability.
He believes the telecom and technology sector is entering one of its most transformative phases. The roll-out of 5G and edge computing will enable ultra-low-latency applications, unlocking new possibilities in internet of things, immersive simulations and real-time analytics. At the same time, artificial intelligence-driven automation is expected to help operators optimise networks, personalise customer experiences and improve efficiency. “Another important trend is the convergence of telecom with immersive technologies, which will move from pilots to mainstream adoption, especially in training, safety and remote collaboration,” he notes. He also foresees a stronger industry focus on sustainability and green telecom, where innovation will increasingly align with energy efficiency and long-term environmental goals.
He describes his management style as hands-off yet results-oriented, empowering people to learn and grow without micromanagement. Pragmatic and solution-focused, he encourages creative approaches through technology, collaboration and process innovation. His focus is on meeting goals with integrity, fostering resilience and adaptability, and turning challenges into opportunities that deliver measurable results. He adds, “For me, the journey is about shaping the future while enjoying the process of building it together.”
Marwaha pursued a degree in Mechanical Engineering from CSIO-ISTC, Chandigarh, where he was awarded the director’s gold medal for overall academic performance. In his spare time, he enjoys travelling with family and friends, exploring new cultures and perspectives, and is equally passionate about riding, collecting and learning about different bikes. His family includes his wife, who is a marketing expert, and their daughter, who is currently pursuing finance and international business at the University of Illinois, USA.
