Qualcomm has described smart‑glasses as the computing platform of tomorrow and voiced strong confidence in their prospects across tech‑savvy India, where 5G networks and artificial intelligence (AI) can underpin adoption. According to Qualcomm, the devices hold applications across nearly every industry vertical, from education and healthcare to automotive, entertainment, and productivity.
Qualcomm offers a full smart‑glasses stack, spanning chipsets, platforms, and both hardware and software development kits, enabling original equipment manufacturer (OEM) and developer partners to craft innovative use cases.
Additionally, Qualcomm has teamed up with India’s Lenskart to power the eyewear company’s forthcoming smart‑glasses earlier this year. Lenskart launched the Rs 4,000 “Phonic” audio‑enabled model.
