The Madhya Pradesh State Electronics Development Corporation (MPSEDC) executed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Submer Technologies SL, a Spain‑headquartered multinational that specialises in data‑centre cooling technology. The MoU establishes a strategic alliance to co‑develop up to 1 gigawatt (GW) of next‑generation, artificial intelligence (AI) ready data‑centre capacity within Madhya Pradesh.
The partnership aims to significantly cut energy use, water consumption, and environmental impact, aligning the facilities with international efficiency benchmarks for data‑centre operations.
Accordingly, under the MoU, the Madhya Pradesh government will assist with land allotment, regulatory approvals, and investment incentives for eligible data‑centre projects. In parallel, Submer Technologies will supply advisory support, design certification, and capability‑building to ensure successful implementation of the roadmap.
