TRAI extends deadline for submitting comments and counter-comments for consultation paper on ‘Assignment of the Microwave Spectrum in 6 GHz (lower), 7 GHz, 13 GHz, 15 GHz, 18 GHz, 21 GHz Bands, E-Band, and V-Band’

The Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) has extended the deadline of submitting written comments and counter-comments for consultation paper on ‘Assignment of the Microwave Spectrum in 6 GHz (lower), 7 GHz, 13 GHz, 15 GHz, 18 GHz, 21 GHz Bands, E-Band, and V-Band’ to July 2, 2025 and July 16, 2025, respectively.

TRAI had released the consultation paper on May 28, 2025. The last dates for submitting written comments and counter-comments on the issues raised in the consultation paper were initially fixed as June 25, 2025 and July 9, 2025, respectively.

Keeping in view the requests of industry associations and stakeholders for an extension of time for submission of comments, it has been decided to extend the last dates by one week for comments and counter comments.
