Bharti Airtel has enhanced network connectivity for users at the Barsapara Cricket Stadium in Guwahati, which is set to host matches for the IPL (Indian Premier League) 2025.
To handle increased demand, the telco has deployed an additional tower near the stadium and upgraded existing cell sites to boost capacity. A Cell on Wheels (COW) has also been stationed in the area to further support connectivity.
Further, Airtel is strengthening its network infrastructure at stadiums across the country to ensure seamless connectivity for spectators attending IPL matches.
Similarly, about a week ago, Airtel had announced the enhancement of network connectivity at Mumbai’s Wankhede Stadium.
