According to Kavita Bhatia, the chief operations officer (COO) of the IndiaAI mission under the Ministry of Electronics and IT (MeitY), compute and graphical processing units (GPU) resources will be provided to Indian startups, companies, academic institutions, autonomous bodies, and research and development institutes participating in the second round of applications for the IndiaAI Mission.
The second-round invites proposals aimed at creating practical tools and frameworks in several key areas, including watermarking and labeling, ethical artificial intelligence (AI) frameworks, AI risk assessment and management, stress testing tools, and deepfake detection tools.
The deadline for submitting these proposals is set for midnight on January 9, 2025
