Excitel Broadband Private Limited has achieved 32 per cent jump in its revenues for the financial year 2022-2023 (FY23) as compared to corresponding period of the previous fiscal year. The total income of the company stood at Rs 3.91 billion for FY23 as against Rs 2.96 billion for FY22. The employee benefit expense of the company has gone up by 132 per cent for FY23 as compared to corresponding period of the previous fiscal year. It stood at Rs 1.21 billion for FY23 as against Rs 0.52 billion for FY22.

As per the company’s statement, it deems its employees as indispensable assets. The company has taken some innovative and path breaking initiatives for its employees in FY23 and hence there has been an increase in employee benefit expenses.

Moreover, Excitel has recently launched a new end-of-season sale for customers wherein customers will get access to a broadband connection with 300 Mbps speed. With the end-of-season sale, users also get over-the-top (OTT) benefits. Under the offer, three months of service is free with 18 OTT platforms and 150 Live TV channels.

In addition, the OTT platforms bundled with the plan are Amazon Prime, Disney+ Hotstar, SonyLIV, ALTBalaji, and many more. It is a fibre-to-the-home (FTTH) services provider and offers super affordable high-speed broadband plans. Excitel’s aim is to cater to second and third tier towns where major internet service providers often do not invest due to low returns potential.
