Accel has launched the fourth edition of its pre-seed accelerator program, Accel Atoms 4.0, which is now open for applications until November 17, 2024. The current cohort focuses on two categories of early-stage startups: those building solutions for ‘Bharat’ and those working in or with artificial intelligence (AI).
Accel defines ‘Bharat’ as the middle-income households across tier 2, tier 3, and rural India, which represents a significant consumer market estimated at $500 billion. The 3-month hybrid program will provide selected startups with mentorship from leading industry experts in AI and Bharat, as well as access to over $5 million in perks from partners like AWS, Google, and Stripe to support their initial infrastructure needs. Startups that demonstrate exceptional progress during the program will be eligible for investment of up to $1 million.
Further, founders participating in Accel Atoms 4.0 will also benefit from access to Accel’s global community of over 300 founders, mentors, and potential customers. Additionally, the program will collaborate with organisations like xto10x to offer deeper mentorship, expert insights, and support to the selected startups.
