Suchi Semicon has announced that it is investing $ 100 million to establish Gujarat’s first outsourced semiconductor sssembly and testing (OSAT) plant by November 2024.

The initial facility will cover 30,000 square feet and will have the capacity to produce up to 3 million chips per day. This plant will cater to key sectors including consumer electronics, automobiles, telecommunications, and wearables. Further, the facility is expected to generate up to 1,200 jobs, thereby contributing to local economic growth.

Additionally, the company has entered into agreements with engineering colleges such as Sardar Vallabhbhai National Institute of Technology (SVNIT) and Gujarat Technological University (GTU) to enhance skill development and foster a highly skilled workforce.
