Microsoft is likely to partner with Taiwan-based technology company, Foxconn, to manufacture smartphones for the Indian market.
It is expected that Foxconn?s plant in Sri City, Andhra Pradesh will produce two variants of Microsoft smartphones.
If the deal gets materialised, this would be the first time that Microsoft phones would be manufactured in India.
