Bharti Airtel has announced its partnership with the Madhya Pradesh government for one of its initiatives as part of the Digital India Week. The company has rolled out ?E-Shakti?, a scheme to build Internet awareness and literacy among women in Madhya Pradesh.

According to the company, internet has the potential to transform society into a strong, prosperous and progressive ecosystem. The increased adoption of Internet among women in Madhya Pradesh would help bridge the digital divide.

The company also conducted a training session for over 300 girl students. The training module includes elementary knowledge on Internet. The first phase of rollout of this scheme will be conducted across six districts of Madhya Pradesh ? Bhopal, Dewas, Gwalior, Damoh, Dhar and Satna.
