
Beginning June 16, 2015, Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) will offer free Wi-Fi services to its customers visiting the Taj Mahal in Agra.
The Wi-Fi services will be available for free for the first 30 minutes. For accessing Wi-Fi services beyond 30 minutes, customers will be charged Rs 30 per hour. BSNL has launched Wi-Fi service in association with the Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) as part of the Central government’s ‘digital’ initiative.
Going forward, both BSNL and ASI plan to introduce free WI-Fi services at other tourist spots including Fatehpur Sikri fort.
