State-run Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) is reportedly in talks with Sistema Shyam Teleservices to offer 4G services across the country, through joint branding. While SSTL, which operates under the MTS India brand, services subscribers across nine telecom circles, including Delhi, Rajasthan, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Kolkata and Uttar Pradesh (West), BSNL offers services in all but two circles – Delhi and Mumbai.
Both companies are planning to combine their spectrum across circles and offer joint services across select circles.
