Bengaluru-based Internet services provider Atria Convergence Technologies Private Limited (ACT) is targeting to reach one million subscribers by 2016. According to the company, ACT is currently growing at an annual rate of 43 per cent and is likely to reach the target in the next one year.

The company has added that ACT will work on a go-to-market plan till May 2015 and an amount of Rs 100 million has been earmarked for the same.

Recently, ACT Fibernet, a subsidiary of ACT, launched ‘Incredible 100 Mbps’, a 250 mbps plan with a one terabyte data limit for enterprises and businesses and 200 GB download limit for retail subscribers.

Meanwhile, the company has already piloted a Wi-Fi hotspot at a mall in Hyderabad and is evaluating opportunities to create more such zones across the city in the near future.

ACT has a customer base of 700,000 users across Hyderabad, Bengaluru, Chennai, and several other locations in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. As per the company, it is the market leader in wired internet connectivity in Hyderabad with a market share of 70 per cent.
