China-based mobile phone manufacturer TCL Communication has partnered with wholesale mobility distributor BrightPoint to distribute and market its smartphones across west and south India. TCL is likely to launch a range of its smartphones under the brand name Alcatel One in the southern and western region in India soon.
TCL is of the view that the pace of its market expansion in India will increase with this partnership with BrightPoint as its products will be sold through multiple channels across the country. The tie- up will thus address the unmet Indian demand for Alcatel One Touch smartphones.
