Videocon Telecom has partnered with Huawei to introduce Wi-Fi services in the Punjab circle.
The operator has established a few Wi-Fi hotspots in the Punjab circle and going forward plans to increase Wi-Fi coverage across the circle.
Over the next few months, the operator plans to extend Wi-Fi coverage to other circles as well. However, the operator is currently in talks with several telecom equipment vendors including an Israel-based player for rolling out Wi-Fi services in other circles.
