Capitalising on a growing mobile advertisement market, Tata Teleservices Limited (TTSL) is planning to launch the GET mobile advertising application. The GET platform enables video advertising on the mobile handset and customers can choose when or where they want to view a video commercial on their phone.

TTSL will offer subscribers free voice minutes for viewing advertisements on their mobile phones before making calls. The operator is going to launch this service in partnership with mAdcall Limited. TTSL has also roped in a few companies whose advertisements it would showcase on mobile phones.

The GET application will be available on the company?s GSM and CDMA networks and is compatible with various operating systems such as Android, Java, Symbian and Blackberry. The application can also be accessed over Wi-Fi.
