Nokia Corporation has posted its results for the second quarter ended June 30, 2013.
The company has registered consolidated losses of ? 278 million in the period under consideration, compared to ? 1,527 million in the same quarter a year ago.
Meanwhile, revenue from its handset business declined by close to 32 per cent and net sales declined by 24 per cent to ? 5,695 million in the reported quarter, compared to ? 7,542 million in the same period a year ago.
Also, revenue from devices touched ? 2,724 million in second quarter from ? 4,023 million in the same quarter last year. The company also registered a 27 per cent decline in the number of mobile devices it sold during the second quarter on a yearly basis.
The company sold 61.1 million handsets between April-June 2013, compared to 83.69 million during the same period in 2012.
