Reliance Communications (RCOM) has introduced the Facebook messenger plan for prepaid customers.
The plan offers subscribers unlimited access to Facebook’s messenger facility for Rs 16, without any additional charges for data usage. The plan is valid for 30 days. RCOM’s customers can subscribe to the plan by sending “FB” as an SMS to 53739.
Commenting on the launch, Nilanjan Mukherjee, wireless, chief revenue officer, RCOM, says, “The Facebook messenger Plan with unlimited usage of Facebook without any extra data charges is set to provide a compelling new experience with incredible affordability to smartphone users across the country. We are hopeful that the offer will trigger a significant shift of youth customers using smartphones to our superior network.”
