Norway-based Telenor is looking at self-financing Uninor by 2013, say news reports.
To achieve this, the company plans to undertake operational restructuring to boost cash flow by reallocating its existing resources.
Earlier, Uninor had scaled down operations in Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Karnataka and Odisha and planned to focus on its operations in nine circles. These include the Uttar Pradesh East, Uttar Pradesh West, Bihar and Jharkhand, Kolkata, West Bengal, Andhra Pradesh, Mumbai, Maharashtra, Goa and Gujarat circles.
