The Department of Telecommunications (DoT) has selected three companies which will act as auctioneers for the bidding in the forthcoming spectrum auction.
DoT has appointed Bangalore-based Karnataka State Electronics Development Corporation Limited, Mumbai-based NCDEX Spot Exchange Limited and Times Internet Limited as auctioneers. These companies will be responsible for the opening of technical bids for the spectrum auction. Additionally, DoT will select another agency for conducting the e-auction of spectrum in the 1800 MHz and 800 MHz bands.
