Sistema Shyam Teleservices Limited (SSTL) has refuted news reports which stated that the company was in advance talks with the other telecom service providers for acquisition deals.
SSTL has stated that the company?s immediate priority is to seek clarity on spectrum related regulations from the government. It will decide its future course of action after the government comes out with the reserve price for the forthcoming auction.
SSTL?s 21 licences were among the 122 2G licences cancelled by the Supreme Court in February 2012. The company?s telecom licence in the country is valid till September 2012.
