Huawei Technologies has sent a legal notice to the Videocon Group and suspended service support to its telecom unit for non-payment of dues, says news reports.

Huawei Technologies is claiming dues of about Rs 8.6 billion from Videocon for providing 2G-network gear and subsequent delivery of project services to the operator in July 2009. In the legal notice, Huawei Technologies claims that Videocon has not paid 85 per cent of the equipment contract. The deadline for Videocon to pay its dues to Huawei Technologies was February 2, 2012.
