Following operators like Reliance Communications, Tata Teleservices Limited (TTSL) and Aircel, Bharti airtel has also launched 3G services. The operator’s 3G services are supported by a network powered by 1800 plus 3G sites in the National Capital Region spanning Delhi, Gurgaon, Faridabad and Noida. This network is expected to provide 3G services to 7.6 million airtel mobile customers in the region. airtel also announced that it has achieved the milestone figure of around half a million 3G customers across the country, having launched a little over a month ago.

airtel?s 3G services are already available in Bengaluru, Chennai, Coimbatore, Mysore, Manipal, Udipi and Jaipur and will be available in all 13 3G-license circles by March 2011.
