O.P. Saini, special judge, Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has issued a notice to the CBI pertaining to the bail applications of former Minister of Telecommunications and IT A. Raja?s then personal secretary, R.K. Chandolia, former Department of Telecommunications’ secretary, Siddharth Behura and Shahid Usman Balwa, managing director, DB Realty, according to news reports.
The CBI has been asked to respond to the bail applications filed by Chandolia and Balwa by February 24, 2011 and to Behura’s on February 28, 2011.
The court has extended the judicial custody of Behura and Chandolia to March 3, 2011. The judicial custody was extended so that they could be presented in court along with A. Raja, and Balwa. It is believed that Raja?s bail application will be moved in the next two-three days.
