Tata Teleservices Limited (TTSL) and RCOM have launched a short messaging service (SMS)-based email offering across their network. Both the operators are launching the service in alliance with iseemedia, a Canadian software development company, on both the GSM and CDMA platforms. While TTSL will charge its customers a subscription fee of Rs 15 per month with Re 0.50 being charged for every SMS sent, RCOM has set the tariff at Rs 30 per month and Re 0.50 per SMS.
