NSN is planning to cut about 1,250 jobs in Finland and Germany as part of cost-saving measures. The company is also likely to sell a facility located in Durach, Germany, that employs 500 people, and cut about 50 more jobs when it closes a facility in Egypt. Following these cuts, NSN would have about 60,000 employees globally, including 10,000 in Germany.
