Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has placed a 5 million GSM line order with Nortel and Motorola for the southern region. The order, which is worth Rs 8 billion, has been divided between the two vendors in equal proportion. The company is also likely to launch another tender for 25 million GSM lines for the southern zone.
