Essar group company Essar Telecom Infrastructure Private Limited (ETIPL) is negotiating with Aircel for leasing out towers.

ETIPL has earmarked an investment of Rs 12 billion to set up 5,000 towers during 2007-08 and is almost halfway through to its target. ETIPL has already leased towers to leading operators like Airtel, Vodafone Essar, Spice Communications, Tata Teleservices and BPL.
