Chinese telecom network solutions provider Huawei Technologies has entered into an agreement with Saudi Telecom to deploy a Wi Max 802.16e-based network.

Chinese telecom network solutions provider Huawei Technologies has entered into an agreement with Saudi Telecom to deploy a WiMax 802.16e-based network. Under the agreement, Huawei will design and deploy not only the Wi-Max network, but also an authorisation, authentication and accounting system for Saudi Telecom. The broadband network will cover major Saudi Arabian cities including Riyadh, Jeddah and Dammam.
