Alcatel-Lucent has been awarded a three-year contract to supply $88.2 million worth of equipment, services and software to US based nTelos Holdings.

Alcatel-Lucent has been awarded a three-year contract to supply $88.2 million worth of equipment, services and software to USbased nTelos Holdings. Under the contract, Alcatel-Lucent will upgrade nTelos’ wireless network by deploying 3G CDMA2000 1xEV-DO Rev. A technology in the company’s US markets.

Alcatel-Lucent will also provide its IP/MPLS solution in order to deploy IP routing and IP RAN backhaul solutions.
