Verizon Business India has applied for a licence to provide ILD services through its newly formed, 74 per cent owned joint venture with the Videocon Group. The new venture, called Verizon Communications India, is planning to provide advanced telecommunications services including multi-protocol label switching, international private leased circuits, and internet protocol virtual private networks.
