Taiwan-based telecommunications service provider Chunghwa Telecom has undertaken several tie-ups. The company has signed an agreement with Google to provide web search services on Chunghwa Telecom’s mobile phones from January 2007. The company will also work with Microsoft to further upgrade its IP-TV capabilities and offer new services. It has also selected AlcatelLucent for providing convergent video services.
