HCL Infosystems has received advance purchase orders worth Rs 5.91 billion from BSNL to plan, engineer, supply, install and commission network facilities for one of its largest projects. The project involves building an alternate communication network (optic fibre link) for the Indian Air Force (IAF). On completion of this assignment, a significant part of the spectrum currently occupied by the IAF would be vacated.
