Idea Cellular is getting ready to list on the bourses in early 2007.
The initial public offer will aim at retaining the shareholding of the Aditya Birla Group and Aditya Birla Nuvo at over 51 per cent and 37.5 per cent respectively. Aditya Birla Nuvo is also scheduled to invest over Rs 25 billion in Idea, which was one of the largest contributors to its earnings this year.
